Currently, VisiCopy only supports robocopy as its backend. This means that VisiCopy is available for Microsoft Windows Only. In the future, support for rsync will be added. Adding support for rsync will not only make VisiCopy available for other platforms such as Linux and MacOS, but will also add more functionality.
Portable Version
The current release of VisiCopy is a beta version. Until a stable release, VisiCopy will be available only as a portable executable.
For financial reasons, VisiCopy is currently not codesigned. This means that a Microsoft Defender popup will occur the first time you run VisiCopy. To bypass the popup, please read the next article in this section. Also, please consider making a small donation so that we can get VisiCopy code signed.
